Please excuse me while I go cut my thumb off. Because of the INSANE amount of pain caused by spending AT LEAST AN ETERNITY on the frikking GRASS. D:<
(gawd I hate drawing grass) I wanted an excuse to draw Blumiere again, I haven't drawn him in so long... :C And in a pretty out-of-the-ordinary kind of artwork. He's just chillin' on a hill. I tried to go for some realistic lighting effects, and I am pretty much IN LOVE with the way I did his mane and wings. <3 But I'm still not satisfied with how I shaded the purple parts of his body. Shading warm colors was always a big weakness of mine. (ESPECIALLY purple and red) Fear the poofy clouds. Made mostly using filters (since I fail at realistic clouds otherwise). :U Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 hours Blumiere is mine. Comments The grass behind him looks kinda funky, but i noticed his wings and face first! it's as if his wings are glowing softly, and it's a nice feeling i get when i look at it.

I love the colouring of the wings, theres and underlying simplicity to them that just makes them all the more interesting  -- Dragons are real, because they live inside the imaginations of every being. me--->  "kids, dont use formula one racing cars to chase hedgehogs" -Sonic X  This. Is. Awesome.

Amazing job on the lighting behind the main subject, Blumiere, and the clouds are simply superb! Fantastic detail in everything here, especially the grass
This is definately a masterpiece in my eyes, what with all the coloring, shading, lighting, and all the other visual effects used to create this work that bring it together. This work in particular caught my eye above all the rest because of the sheer talent that must have been exercised in the making of this beautiful work.
Overseer is definately a favorite of mine now if it wasn't before, and I certainly would like to see much more of this calibur of work in the future.
I love how his wings and tail glow and he has that "DON'T MESS WITH ME BECAUSE I'M A NINJA" face ...
This picture is just simply amazing and really inspires me to draw more and improve my art.
I'm not just saying this as a friend, I'm saying it as an artist.
Keep up the good work Galahawk because you do such a good job on every drawing you do.
I adore your gallery and I hope to be like you one day.
But for now ... I'm stuck with MSPaint. Curse you Microsoft.
